Application:

Baumit UniPrimer is a vapor-permeable universal primer for interior and exterior use, based on organic binders containing silicone resins and additives, mineral fillers, other additives and water. The universal primer balances the absorptive capacity of the substrate, ensures color uniformity of the final coat, additionally hydrophobizes the substrate and serves as a bonding bridge before the application of Baumit paste plasters. The primer can be applied on reinforced mineral layers of thermal insulation systems, lime, lime-cement and cement plasters, concrete, lime-gypsum and gypsum plasters, mineral, silicate and dispersion paints and plasters with good adhesion, gypsum boards. Do not apply to fresh lime plasters, plastics, varnishes, oil paints and fillers. Solvent free.

Consumption rate:

on putty - approx. 0.20 - 0.25 kg/m2
on plaster - approx. 0.40 kg/m2
For one-hand application
Mix well with a slow speed construction mixer. Apply thickly to the entire surface. The final coat is applied after a minimum of 24 hours, but no later than 14 days.

Coverage:

approx. 60 m2/bucket with plaster - 25 kg bucket
approx. 12 m2/bucket with plaster - 5 kg bucket
The substrate must be clean, dry, frost-free, dust-free, non-water repellent, free from salt stains, of adequate bearing capacity and free from crumbling or falling materials.
