Application:

The plaster starter profiles (Mothers) are used for straightening walls indoors. The profile is made of galvanized sheet metal. The mothers act as guides along which the plasterers are led when levelling the plaster. The plaster is guided tightly along the mothers and thus a flat wall surface is obtained. The plaster starter profiles are fixed to the wall with a mortar from the plaster itself, which is applied as a stripe along the entire height of the wall, rather than pointwise. The strips are pressed into the applied mortar and levelled precisely at the required distance from the wall. Once the plaster under the skirting boards has dried, they will be fixed firmly along their entire length, not just at a few points. The metal trims shall be removed from the plaster after the wall has been levelled and their place filled with plaster.

*The two mothers at the end of the wall are installed first, and a third is installed between them in the applied strip of plaster. A plasterer long enough to run along the two end mothers should be used. By running an H (hash) lining along the two end edges, the middle trims also stands in the specified plane. If necessary, additional material is inserted underneath for easier leveling and more stable installation.
