Purpose:

NIVELOR MAXI TOP is a calcium sulphate based dry fine mix with added mineral fillers and polymer additives. The product is designed for levelling unevenness up to 20 mm, on floors of different construction substrates: cement, concrete, calcium- sulphate surfaces, indoors. It is suitable for making even and strong coatings on concrete and stone floors with underfloor heating. It is characterized by high application precision, short drying times and high wear resistance. NIVELOR MAXI TOP allows walking on the screed 4-5 hours after application, at a layer thickness of 10 mm. The substrate must be dry, sound, free of grease stains, dust and other construction debris. It is necessary to place a barrier strip at the door openings to form a working joint and to prevent the pouring and passing of material between two adjacent rooms during work. Do not mix with other building materials.

Consumption rate:

1.4 - 1.6 kg/m² at 1 mm layer thickness

Approximately 6 liters of water are required to completely dissolve 25 kg of NIVELOR MAXI TOP. Pour the required amount of dry mix into a pre-prepared container of water and stir with a mechanical stirrer until a homogeneous mass is achieved. The mixed mixture is allowed to stand for 5-10 minutes to 'ripen', after which it is stirred again and is ready for use. It is desirable to prepare such an amount of mixture that can be spread within 55-60 minutes. The screed is poured onto the substrate and spread to the required thickness using a long-handled steel tamper. The pouring starts from the furthest corner of the room, gradually working towards the door. If necessary, the freshly laid layer shall be de-aerated with a needle roller. It is advisable to work with special shoes fitted with spikes.

In order to prevent the screed from cracking due to temperature or other expansion, a protective strip of EPS or other material at least 20 cm high and 1 cm thick shall be placed along the entire contact length of the walls with the floor.
