Application:

LIME CEMENT LASTER R-300 is a ready-mixed dry mixture of lime, cement, sand and additives for manual and machine application. The plaster has high vapour permeability and is suitable for interior plastering of walls and ceilings. It can be applied by hand or machine. When applied by machine, it is necessary to install protective profiles at all corners and edges and, if necessary, metal guide profiles to assist in the removal of the plaster before applying the plaster. When applied by machine, R-300 plaster is applied in strips, in two successive coats ("wet in wet"), then smoothed and levelled with a trowel. Wait a while and then dust off with a feather duster. The product is compatible with TERAZID silo technology.

BASE PREPARATION:

THE PLASTER R-300 is suitable for applying to all types of building substrates. The surface must be dry, free from frost, well cleaned and free from grease stains. Loose and unstable surfaces without sufficient bearing capacity are not acceptable. For smooth substrates it is recommended to use TERAZID G-22 BETONCONTAKT as a pre-treatment.

LAYING AND PROCESSING:

For the complete dissolution of 25 kg of VAROCIMENT OIL R-300 about 5.7 liters of water are required. Gradually pour the required quantity of dry mixture into a pre-prepared container of water and stir with a mechanical stirrer until a homogeneous mixture is achieved. The mixed mixture is allowed to stand for 5 minutes to 'ripen', after which it is stirred again and is ready for use. The prepared solution is applied in a single coat, then leveled and smoothed. The normal application thickness is 20 mm with a minimum thickness of 10 mm. Where levelling and plastering over 25 mm is required, work in two coats, observing the rule that the second coat is applied before the main coat has dried - wet-in-wet. It is recommended that the first coat is applied horizontally using a scraper. The plaster should not be washed when ceramic coatings are to be applied.
