Application:

Akfix 960 is a one-component, moisture curing, aerosol polyurethane adhesive foam. The PU adhesive foam provides fast and strong bonding of various building materials, especially recommended for thermal insulation systems. The adhesive has strong adhesion to polystyrene thermal boards (XPS and EPS). The adhesive mixture is ready for mechanical fixing within two hours. Polyurethane adhesive is a lighter material compared to dry adhesives used in thermal insulation systems. There is no additional weight on the building. PU Adhesive is ideal for installing thermal insulation panels and filling gaps. Also recommended for gluing wooden building materials to concrete, metal, etc. The adhesive is suitable for installing and insulating window and door frames.

Very economical.
Ready to use in an aerosol can.
Up to 9 m2 of thermal insulation per box. Minimal expansion.
No further expansion or contraction after drying. Depends on humidity and temperature.
Fire resistance class: E (according to EN 13501-1, B2 for DIN 4102).
Can be used at low temperatures such as 0°C.
Does not contain ozone-depleting propylene gases.
