Purpose:

Magnesium oxide building board is a new material in construction. It is made of natural inorganic materials - magnesium oxide, magnesium chloride, glass fibre, talc. It does not contain asbestos, formaldehyde, benzenes or other substances harmful to human health. It is available in the form of panels for lining internal and external walls with dimensions of 1220*2440 mm and thickness from 3 to 20 mm.

Magnesium board can be used as a substitute for OSB, spertboard, cement board, plasterboard and other products where strength, water and fire resistance are of prime importance. It is used in family houses, apartments, outbuildings, theatres, museums, schools, hospitals, shopping centres, hotels, airports and the like.

The surface is made of natural inorganic materials - magnesium oxide, magnesium chloride, glass fibers, talc. It does not contain asbestos, formaldehyde, benzenes or other substances harmful to human health.

Properties, characteristics, technical parameters:

Fire Resistance- Magnesium board is tested for fire resistance under the conditions of ASTM E-119-00a. Receives Class A (ASTM E-84) with zero ratings for flame spread and smoke emission. Used to protect metal structures from fire.

Water Resistance - Magnesium board is water resistant. It does not change its physicochemical properties with prolonged wetting. Does not show any structural changes after 25 freeze-thaw cycles. Bending strength remains unchanged after wetting.

Impact resistance- magnesia board performs better than other similar materials- plasterboard, cement board, OSB- in impact tests.

Resistance to termites, rodents, etc. - does not contain nutrients, does not form mold and fungi.

Magnesium board is installed over standard load bearing construction using traditional cladding fasteners. The boards are easily cut, fit, drilled or forged using conventional hand-held power tools.
