Purpose:

Finishing profile FS 252 for SOLID facade is a two-piece ventilation profile used to finish the top of the wall section, allowing air to circulate behind the cladding panels. It consists of 2 parts. The base is fixed in place behind the cladding panels and the cover profile hides all fixings and creates a seamless finish. The profile is available in DARK and LIGHT versions and is used for light and dark shades of the Solid Brick, Solid Stone and Solid Sandstone collections. Dark grouted decors require the use of FS 252 dark finish profile. Light grout decors require the use of FS 252 light coloured finishing profile. The finishing profile for the installation of Solid cladding is 3m long. It allows the fast, practical and economical execution of ventilated facades, exterior and interior projects, transforming any building. The products must be installed at ambient temperatures between 5°C and 30°C. Panels and sills may be cleaned occasionally with a domestic detergent solution at a temperature not exceeding 40°C, without the use of solvents or similar aggressive and corrosive liquids. After washing, rinse with clean water.

Prior to installation, profiles should be seasoned for 2-3 hours at the installation site so that the profile has a chance to equalize temperature with the surrounding area. Adequate expansion clearance, adequate ventilation clearance from the ground (approximately 150 mm from ground level) and at the top edge of the walls (ventilation sills) should be left. A natural feature of plastic material profiles is heat accumulation. Failure to maintain the correct air gap can lead to thermal degradation of the material.
