Application:

TERAZID EPS-F70 12-14 kg/m³, facade polystyrene foam, is used for thermal insulation of both new facades and old buildings. It is applied on walls and ceilings, as well as for "turning" openings by selecting the necessary thickness of the panels for this purpose. TERAZID EPS-F is available in different densities, depending on the required thermal conductivity coefficient λ (W/mK). The dimensions of the thermal insulation panels are 50 cm/100 cm and the thickness can vary from 1 cm to 20 cm. The insulation boards are tightly stacked. The joint between each two boards in the next row is shifted by 50 cm or half a board from the joint of the previous board (so called "longitudinal joint"), so that where three boards come together, T-joints are formed. The adhesive is applied in a solid outline along the edge of the insulation board and in several beads inside. If the substrate is flat, the adhesive can be applied with a trowel over the entire surface of the board. No adhesive or putty should be allowed to penetrate the joints between the boards as this creates thermal bridging.
