Purpose:

Impregnated board NORGIPS H2 with increased moisture resistance. Designed for use in wet rooms, such as bathrooms and kitchens. In such rooms, the relative humidity may exceed 70%, but cannot be higher than 85% for more than 10 hours per day. The surface is covered with cardboard and a bevelled long edge and a straight cut short edge. A hydrophobic substance (paraffin or silicone) was added to the gypsum core of the board. They can be used to clad walls, ceilings, non-load bearing walls, linings, suspended ceilings and loft construction. Norgips S edge - bevel edge. This edge makes it possible to obtain a smooth surface of the joints obtained when joining plasterboard panels. The slight bevel reduces the consumption of plastering mortar in the joint. Norgips S edge-jointed plasterboard joints require the application of reinforcing strips.

Gypsum plasterboards have a long service life, good aesthetic appearance, perfectly smooth surface, clean composition that does not endanger the health of people and the environment. Gypsum does not contain toxic components (it consists of calcium, sulphur, oxygen and water) and has an acid reaction similar to that of human skin. Working with plasterboard is easy and takes relatively little time.

Treatment of the bevels:

Use a panel saw, panel knife or layout knife to cut the boards. After cutting the board, the edges are smoothed and chamfered with an edge planer. This makes it easier to putty the boards. The cardboard must not be torn along the cut line in any case.
