Drilling installation is the strongest and most reliable method for securing heavy elements, uneven walls, or when long-term stability is required. It is suitable for installing baseboards, wall cladding, wainscoting, moldings, trim, and transition pieces on concrete, brick, or other solid substrates.

Preparation for installation involving drilling

Before you begin installation, make sure you have the right tools and take safety precautions:

Hammer drill – for concrete

Anchors and screws – most commonly Ø6 mm or Ø8 mm

Important: Always use a cable and pipe detector to avoid damage when drilling.

Installation of skirting boards (PVC and MDF)

✔ PVC skirting boards with a cable channel:

Remove the decorative cap
The window sill is positioned next to the wall
Drill directly through it at a distance of 40–50 cm
Insert the dowels and tighten the screws
The cap snaps back into place

Holes are drilled in the wall
Mounting clips are installed every 30–40 cm
The trim is secured by snapping it into place

Installation of wainscoting and wall paneling (PVC, MDF, wood)

For cladding, a substructure (lattice) is used to ensure greater stability and levelness:

Mounting to the wall with wall anchors
