PANELS FOR RAST FALLING CEILINGS

The model most often applied in administrative buildings is that of the raster suspended ceiling. In it, 60/60cm boards are placed on T-shaped profiles turned with the wide part down, suspended with dowels to the ceiling surface. The free suspension of the plates allows easy access for repair and maintenance of the systems, as well as the possibility of replacing the plates in case of damage. The plates can be made of different materials - wood, metal, polymers, gypsum, mineral fibers - and the aesthetic effect, mechanical and fire resistance are the leading factors in their selection. Mineral materials, including the most commonly used gypsum, have excellent fire resistance and can acquire a different surface finish - plastics on the surface, PVC coating with a pattern, perforations on the plates for better acoustic properties.
