Modern thermal insulation materials - mineral wool, bitumen insulation, expanded polystyrene (EPS), extruded polystyrene - XPS are the main elements for building external thermal insulation systems. The mineral wool and its products are a very good heat insulator and have a relatively good thermal insulation ratio / price.The material does not rot, is resistant to cold and heat, has low hygroscopicity, does not burn and is not attacked by rodents. Expanded Penopolystyrene (EPS) is one of the best and most commonly used thermal insulation materials in the construction of public buildings. EPS is a hydrophobic material and is resistant to the physical and chemical action of water. Extruded polystyrene (XPS) is produced by polystyrene granulipo extrusion method. The inability to enter water into the cells and pores of the material provides excellent frost resistance and preservation of internal connections in its structure. Thanks to the included inhibitory additives, XPS is difficult to ignite and self-extinguishable, has significant chemical resistance and does not respond with solutions of most inorganic acids, bases and salts, including building mineral solutions.
