GYPSUM PUTTIES
Putties are dry mixtures dilutable in water or ready-to-use pasty substances. There are two types of putties - leveling and finishing. Levelers are designed to pre-level the surface and fill larger cracks and holes. Finishers are the last fine finishing coat of putty for a smooth and well-standing wall or ceiling, before priming and painting. Most often, dry plasters are based on gypsum or cement, modified with polymers and various chemical additives. They increase their adhesion properties (the adhesion between the particles), guarantee uniform drying and elasticity of the entire layer.
Gypsum plaster for manual laying is recommended for rooms with normal humidity. The plaster increases the bonding ability to the substrate and is ideal for plastering and leveling walls and ceilings and offers an optimal open time for manual laying.
Fine putty can be applied by hand or machine and is for interior use only on plastered surfaces.
Gypsum and gypsum plasterboard grouting and plastering is used for plasterboard grouting and plastering, and provides a perfect surface without cracking when used professionally. It is used with paper tape when filling the joints with cut edges, thereby achieving great strength of the connections.
Ready mixes offer a perfectly smooth consistency with uniform water absorption. The overall putty will level and smooth surface defects that will be visible after painting. They can be used for plastering both plasterboard and fine wall treatment after plastering.
The layer of the final putty should be as thin as possible.
Another advantage of the putty used is its easy sanding after the first coat, which also ensures greater smoothness of the walls.
Sanding is the final stage of the putty process. Almost every type of putty ends with a precise and thorough sanding of the surface.
