FIREPROOVED GYPSUM BOARDS
Fire-resistant (flame-resistant) plasterboard (marked with GKLO) are functionally similar to standard and water-resistant (impregnated) boards - they are processed and bent in the same way. Thanks to special additives, the gypsum core of this type of plasterboard can withstand high temperatures twice as long. Thanks to this feature, smoke and fire cannot spread quickly.
For wet rooms, there are special types and brands of fire-resistant plasterboard. They are used for the construction of partitions for fire protection purposes, sheathing of cable ducts, ventilation, steel structures. You can use fire-resistant sheets even when you need to enclose a separate room in the room. As a rule, the material is used in offices, enterprises and public premises. The cardboard lining has a light shade. In most cases it is red (pink) in color.
